I remember vividly when my colleague at my old law firm took credit for something I did and I clammed up and wasn’t ready or able to respond in front of my boss that the idea had actually been mine. I loved this advice from Oprah Winfrey about making decisions about your career. I have struggled for most of my adult life with figuring out what to do for a living and worrying when it doesn’t go as planned. This advice is spot on and something I have focused on recently, which is helping me feel both in control and on the right track.
I’ve been following this blog almost since its inception nearly 10 years ago, and they have so much great content, but one of my favorite new(ish) features is The List of things to do, eat, read, watch, etc. It’s an interesting mix of content that always introduces me to something new.
